I developed the fastest ever crush on this guy. He's Maori and works at the treaty grounds. I love the accent. You could tell he was proud of being Maori . There's a lot of similarities between the Maori and First Nations in Canada. And a lot of differences. The Maori are one culture throughout New Zealand. They speak the same language. In British Columbia alone, there are 203 First Nations communities. While some share the same language, you could drive to the next community here and they have a totally different approach, language and culture.
Nevertheless, he is one fine person to look at and had a wonderful smile. It was well worth the price of admission to Waitangi and the hour tour with him as a guide. Highly recommended!
